Street at is rampant in India, in one form or the other. Indians are creative people and they do not need a specific canvas to display their artistic abilities. On the shutter of shops, behind trucks, under certain trees you will wee gods in various forms and colors.
While street painters have taken up this profession purely with a commercial motive, the reasons that drive them to this point and how they appear on the streets at daytime and somehow disappear into the darkness of night o comeback the next day, have always strongly appealed to me. Hence, my documentary__“O my Gods!”___ a soul-stirring story told about these lesser-known worshippers of God.
